The NVH department of VIRTUAL VEHICLE is the organizer of the “ISNVH Conference”, a biennial event which alternates with the SAE Noise and Vibration Conference in the US and strongly collaborates with SAE-International (the ISNVH papers are peer-reviewed according to the SAE paper approval standards and can be downloaded from the SAE Technical Paper web-site).
ISNVH has become the reference congress for automotive acoustics & vibrations in Europe and almost all European automotive OEM’s are represented in our Scientific Program Committee: Audi, BMW, Daimler, Stellantis (Fiat-Chrysler/Peugeot-Citroen), Ford, Porsche, Renault, Volkswagen and Volvo. Recently, Hyundai (Korea) also joined ISNVH as an active contributor to our conference. Having a committee member from Asia marks an important step, as this continent is expected to play a leading role in the next decennium.

We also have a strong team representing Academia in our committee: Prof. Abom from KTH in Sweden, Prof. Becker from Erlangen in Germany, Prof. Bein from Fraunhofer in Germany, Prof. Ih from KAIST in Korea, Prof. Atalla from Sherbrooke in Canada, Prof. Kaltenbacher from Graz here in Austria and Prof. Torregrosa from Valencia in Spain.

We are very keen in keeping the scientific level as high as possible.

Our conferences are “live” and take place in Graz (Austria), featuring around 200 attendants and over 100 peer reviewed technical papers/presentations.

Already three keynote speakers confirmed their participation to the upcoming ISNVH 2024 edition (June 19-21).

The worldwide economical and geo-political developments in the last decennium have made clear that a change of course has become absolute priority. In order to assure stable and sustainable long-term growth, the new political strategies must shift towards a more sustainable and technology-driven economy, which aims to reduce environmental impact and enhance digitalisation across various sectors.

Winds of change are blowing through the automotive industry. Advanced Driver Assistance and automated driving systems, connectivity, electrification, circular economy meaning new materials allowing recycling. Societal changes and technological innovation are bringing significant, almost revolutionary, changes in the markets and we believe that the NVH community must not only adapt to these challenges but also anticipate new opportunities.

It is therefore important to open up new horizons of inspiring scientific work.
