Safety and comfort assessment methods of HMI systems for automated driving
The interface between driver/passenger and automated vehicle plays a crucial role for acceptance, safety and comfort. Human-centric aspects are of major importance for the development of related objective assessment methods.

Tender Information
- Experimental investigation on the influence of HMI systems and techniques to the comfort of vehicle operation
- Safety aspects of the HMI in electric (automated) vehicles with focus on the questions:
– How does the use of AR affect the safety of vehicle operation
– How does the absence of engine sound affect the comfort and safety when operating an electric vehicle
– Ergonomic aspects of HMI in electric vehicle - Development of safety and comfort assessment methods of HMI systems
- Development of contextual HMI system concepts with minimal obtrusiveness and optimal acceptance and performance
