Racing-Team of Virtual Vehicle & TU Graz for “SeasonAlpha” in Hungary

As part of the ROBORACE ecosystem, VIRTUAL VEHICLE & TU Graz sent its racing team to Hungary to attend the SEASON ALPHA. Three teams competed against each other and showed in the “Localisation Challenge” what is possible in racing without driver and without GPS, only with sensors.

The VIRTUAL VEHICLE team integrated a lidar-based positioning system tested on our own Automated Drive demonstrators into ROBORACE‘s basic software, sending the Devbot 2.0 into the race. The integration for the “Localisation Challenge” was tested for the first time in Hungary.
