VIRTUAL VEHICLE has established itself internationally in the field of digital mobility as Europe’s largest research center for virtual vehicle development and is a leading driver of the development of software-defined vehicles as an innovation accelerator. Domestic companies in particular, from SMEs to global players, benefit from the successful internationalization and extensive know-how transfer.
Tomorrow’s mobility will be dominated by software – and VIRTUAL VEHICLE is advancing the development of “Software Defined Systems” as an R&D partner for the automotive and rail industry in a leading position in Europe. In the presence of Landesrätin Barbara Eibinger-Miedl, the Rector of the Graz University of Technology Harald Kainz and Vice President Infineon Technologies Hans Adlkofer, VIRTUAL VEHICLE Managing Director Jost Bernasch gave first insights into the vehicle digitization of tomorrow. Successful models for accelerating innovation and how domestic companies benefit from knowledge transfer were also presented. Presented by the ARG Racing Team, the Roborace racing car – a 282 km/h, fully autonomous racing car – has been shown for the first time in Austria.
