Low-level gateway for automated driving

Automated vehicles are required to handle highway and urban driving scenarios in a such a way that the availability of the driving function and its safe behavior is ensured. Especially low-level gateways including plausibility tests of data based on an Infineon AURIXTM platform are needed. We search for a student who likes to analyze such safety critical functions and program on µController level.

Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Analysis of the provided AURIXTM features for safety critical driving functions
  • Detection of faults and development of fault recovery strategies
  • Fault-injection and testing

 What we expect from you:

  • Study: computer science, informatics, electrical engineering, telematics or equivalent
  • Knowledge in C/C++, µController programming
  • Electronics skills
  • Ability to work independently, solution competence, responsibility and high motivation
