Handicapped-accessible automated driving vehicle @ GTC Europe
At the GTC Europe from 9.-11. October in Munich, Europe’s leading technology conference for artificial intelligence, Schaeffler Paravan Technologie GmbH & Co. KG and the VIRTUAL VEHICLE Research Center show a handicapped-accessible vehicle demonstrator with drive-by-wire system. The van based on a Mercedes Vito can be operated in three different ways – with a mechanical steering column, steering wheel and pedals, with a four-way joystick as a mobility solution for the disabled or completely autonomous via a CAN interface.
