Data Context Hub – Prostep ivip Symposium in Stuttgart

On the 3rd & 4th of May 2023, the Prostep ivip Symposium took place for the 30th time in Stuttgart, Germany.
Dr. Bernd Fachbach, Kilian Reisenegger, Markus Benedikt and Marko Lah (VIRTUAL VEHICLE) were on site with Data Context Hub as exhibitors and speakers.

  • Presentation in Industry Track: Key Enablers for Future Data-driven Engineering / Dr. Bernd Fachbach
  • Presentation in Scientific Track: Graph-based Data Integration to Enhance MBSE-centric Collaboration / Markus Benedikt

In total, the event attracted around 650 international participants. During the two days, 45 lectures, six workshops and four keynotes took place. The main topics of the symposium were Digital Transformation, Data Exchange, Standards, Systems Engineering and Sustainability.
Due to the two lectures, there was also a lot of interest in the VIRTUAL VEHICLE exhibition stand. The focus was on the Data Context Hub – the productive platform for integrating and connecting data, which was developed at the VIRTUAL VEHICLE and is already in industrial use.

What is Data Context Hub?

The software platform with its innovative services enables the effective processing and integration of heterogeneous data and presents it in a consistent and networked manner. A central role is played by the availability, consistency and reliability of data as well as setting up of connections between data without special IT knowledge.
The context and knowledge in the data is to be made accessible and usable across divisions with the software platform in order to promote efficiency and sustainability.
Data Context Hub represents a relevant supporting technology for Connected Engineering, Lifecycle Integration and Digital Twins.
