We are cordially inviting you to the Digital Automatic Coupling (DAC) Cost-Benefit Analysis Workshop, to be held online on 1st December 2022.

Jointly organized by the European DAC Delivery Programme (EDDP), enabled by Europe’s Rail JU, and the DACcelerate project (H2020-S2R-GA Nr 101046657), this workshop aims to address DAC Cost Benefit Analysis foundations and scope, its limitations and interpretations and main results.

 

The workshop will tackle the following points on cost-benefit analysis and results from a field consultation in relation to the final EDDP-defined use cases of DAC:

 

INTRO – Why DAC?

·         Why a Cost-Benefit Analysis and why a sector consultation?

·         Limitations and interpretations of DAC CBA

·         Main results

 

COSTS

·         Migration scenario

·         CAPEX and OPEX related challenges

 

BENEFITS

·         Indirect benefits

 

This session will include two audience Q&A sessions on costs and benefit topics. For the purpose of a target-oriented and efficient Q&A, please provide your questions in advance until 28th of November, 2022.
