VIRTUAL VEHICLE Research Center provides technologies for “Smart Mobility” – connected, safe & secure, and environmentally friendly vehicles of the future. 200 experts are developing innovative solutions, new methods and technologies in an international network of worldwide leading OEMs and more than 100 industrial and scientific.

Complex vehicle systems are comprehensively and automatically validated by combining numerical simulation and hardware test rigs.  The central R&D aspects comprise Automated Driving, ADAS, Intergrated Safety, Energy Management, Agile Development Process as well as Functional Safety and Virtual Homologation.

The COMET K2 research program “Digital Mobility” provides attractive co-financing for applied research activities.  VIRTUAL VEHICLE currently participates in 30+ leading EU projects and also offers a wide range of contract research and services.
