Engine Optimisation for RDE (20. – 21.01.2015, Frankfurt/Deutschland)

20. – 21.01.2015 - The only event to focus on engine simulation, design and calibration specifically in relation to achieving RDE compliance.

Following the EU’s decision to change the current regulations of measuring emission from NETC (New Extended Test Cycles) to random cycles, OEMs have had to start preparing for the RDE regulation that is expected to be in place already by January 2017.

While the industry might have reached a common understanding of all the regulation information needed regarding the test cycles, boundary conditions and PEMS suppliers, there now exist many questions regarding the practicalities of how to optimise engine design, calibration and simulation to ensure these regulations are met.
