EU-LIVE: New L5e-category electrified mobility solution presented
The EU-LIVE project "Efficient Light Urban Vehicles", which is co-ordinated by VIRTUAL VEHICLE, presented a novel three-wheeled plug-in hybrid vehicle (L5e PHEV) to the public shortly before Christmas.
This full-fledged vehicle for tomorrow's urban mobility was developed by the PSA Group together with other well-known European manufacturers and suppliers (Peugeot Scooters, Continental, Samsung, Brembo, IFP Energiesnouvelles, Elaphe) and renowned research institutes (fka Aachen, Fraunhofer). The vehicle is suitable for all weather conditions and is suitable for purely electrical operation in the city as well as for long routes in overland / motorway traffic.
VIRTUAL VEHICLE contributes to EU-LIVE - in addition to its know-how in managing of complex European R&D projects - its extensive expertise in the field of complete vehicle simulation, co-simulation and CFD calculation.
